Business Discount Card Terms

When joining the Torbay Discount Card, we are very transparent that the terms and conditions do not contain any small print in terms of fees – and this is 100% true, the terms below generally govern the discount card scheme and are designed to help both of us.

General 

  1. When joining the Torbay Discount Card, you agree that the information you provide on the registration form is true and accurate at the time of signing
  2. Torbay Discount Card agrees that we will not charge you any fees, until we have something with which to show you as a business
  3. You agree to display one of our window stickers – this would of been provided in your Welcome Pack
  4. You agree that we can and will publish one listing about your business based on the information you provide, this will include a postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, web address, facebook, twitter and a overview of your business.
  5. Torbay Discount Card agree to manage and update your information as you request this and to remove listings if businesses request this.
  6. Torbay Discount Card are not responsible and cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise between a customer using one of our discount cards and you as a business.
  7. The Torbay Discount Card allows a consumer to claim a discount up to the rate set on your window sticker.  It is entirely to your discretion if you want to grant more discount, however you must give the minimum you have agreed.
  8. Torbay Discount Card cannot and is not liable for any kind of loss, damage, or any other issues that arise whilst your business is on the scheme.
  9. Torbay Discount Card stores information in an offline database which is updated regularly, should you like a copy of the information we have – please e-mail hello@torbaydiscountcard.com
  10. By a listing being created on our website you agree for us to use your logo and promote your business via our social media channels, newsletters, SEO, PPC and other forms of advertising that we may use from time to time.
  11. Businesses should not grant discounts for cards that have expired.  The expiry date is the last day of the month shown on the discount card.  Example February expiry date is shown as 02/15 this would indicate the discount card is valid until the 28th February 2014.
  12. Lost or stolen cards, when reported to us, are circulated around our businesses, and as such if someone attempts to use a card that has been reported lost or stolen – please let us know on hello@torbaydiscountcard.com

Cancellation

We will be sorry to see you go, but we understand sometimes circumstances change.

  1. If you wish to cancel your discount card membership we simply ask that you inform us and within 30 days we promise to remove your business from our directory.
  2. We will no longer promote your business after we have removed your business from our directory.
