The Torbay Discount Card, just another discount card right?
That statement is far from the truth, see to us the Torbay Discount Card isn’t just a card its the start of something new, exciting and innovative. At present, sure we’re just a dicount card with over 100 businesses throughout Torbay but, in development we are already working on a new and exciting smartphone app for those of you who have one and use one.
The Torbay Discount Card app will offer a lot more than just a list of businesses that you can plot a course to through your iPhone, Android or Windows Powered smartphone, the app promises to provide a new way with which to buy products and claim your discount at valid businesses throughout Torbay.
The Torbay Discount Card app will be available on the following operating systems:
- Android
- iPhone
- Windows Phone
and from the Spring 2015 the app will also be availabe via the new Samsung Operating System, Tizen.
A full dedicated website will be up and running over the next few months, what’s more we have some pretty big plans with how we want to distribute the application so watch this space. Some of the features of the app include:
- Full business listings with Geo Location built in – making it easy for you to find your nearest discount
- Easy to use navigation
- Social Media integration
- Fun, and easy to use GUI (Graphical User Interface)

We’re not going to give too much away, but with the statement of “Shopping will never be the same again” – you can certainly expect some wicked, exciting and revolutionary style features…
