Introducing the Exeter Discount Card

We are pleased to announce that due to the success of the Torbay Discount Card, that we will be launching a new discount card scheme for small independent businesses in Exeter.  The Exeter Discount Card scheme will follow the same format as the Torbay Discount Card in that your business will need to reside in Exeter in order to get involved.

The Exeter Discount Card will encourage more people to shop and buy local products from Exeter, essentially ensuring that the money spent in Exeter stays in Exeter.  A new and dedicated website are already in the pipeline and we are looking to launch the Exeter Discount Card very soon.  As with any kind of new product we know that you will have some questions, so we have tried to answer these below:

Will I be able to use my Torbay Discount Card in Exeter?

No, the Torbay Discount Card is solely for businesses in Torbay,  Consumers on the Exeter Discount Card will not be able to use their discount card here in Torbay or in Teignbridge. This helps to ensure that the businesses in the two counties hold the exclusivity on their county/city wide discount card scheme.

So I’ve got to pay for another discount card?

If you are looking to purchase the Exeter Discount Card  you will need to go to Exeter in order to buy the card.  The card will also be available online via the dedicated Exeter Discount Card website.

When are you going live?

We don’t like to spoil things, so all we can say on this is we are coming very soon.

Are you free for businesses?

Definitely, that is something that will not be changing until we have something with which to show you.  We don’t see the point in charging you for a directory listing when all it takes is a couple of clicks.

Ok, I’m interested where can I sign up?

Both businesses and consumers can register their interest online, business that sign up now will be sent out their welcome packs as soon as we have them.  Consumers that sign up will be sent their new Exeter Discount Card at a reduced price.
