How are we different

With other discount card schemes sprouting up throughout Torbay we thought you would like to know what makes us different and why you should be part of this local trading initiative.

1. Our discount card scheme has been free for businesses to join from the start, we always have been and we always will be until we have something to show our business clients.
2. Torbay Discount Card is in total control of our website, from the code through to the content management system that it resides on.  Our website will soon be responsive and business clients will be able to manage and edit their own listings.
3. Torbay Discount Card is the only scheme, at present, in Torbay to be offering home based businesses online modules that they can use to take part in the scheme.
4. Torbay Discount Card is owned and managed by Robert Haylor, who has over 9 years experience in web development, internet marketing, SEO, content marketing and social media.
5. Torbay Discount Card is part of a larger locally based organisation called Boost Torbay – which provides online marketing activities and has over 2,400 followers on the social network twitter due to its popular hashtag #BoostTorbay.
6. Torbay Discount Card – is not just about development of the website, but the discount cards our customers are using – are being totally re-vamped in 2015…
7. Torbay Discount Card is very much for the businesses it advertises and is totally dedicated to connecting consumers with small businesses and vice versa.
8. Torbay Discount Card is passionate about the local area of Torbay and to add to this we are in constant contact with our businesses, whether it be a newsletter, facebook post or an e-mail, we feel this adds that personal touch.
9. We were and still are the original discount card scheme for Torbay and we know that our model has been the same from the start, and we know it works and have had no need to change it.
